Medically Monitored Detoxification
NET's Kirkwood Detoxification Center in Delaware provides addiction assessment and medically monitored detoxification services to adults in Delaware. It is the only detoxification center in northern Delaware. Medical and clinical staff provide interventions toward abstinence on a 24-hour/7-day per week basis. Referrals can be made to this program.
Consumer Engagement and Transition (CET) Program
The NET Kirkwood Detoxification Center (KDC) Consumer Engagement and Treatment (CET) program facilitates early treatment engagement for consumers who have multiple detoxification admissions (three or more within a 12-month period). The purpose of the CET program is to provide extensive case management services, psychosocial support, counseling, and motivational enhancement to engage consumers in treatment while awaiting transition to a treatment program. The program is designed to give it's consumers a place to go each day where they are expected, and held accountable for attendance, and for remaining clean and sober. The program includes a daily regimen and it operates from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., seven days a week.
The CET program is performance-based contract publicly funded by the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH) and is evaluated by the Treatment Research Institute (TRI).
